Bigham Cable Construction, Inc. is seeking a Drafter Designer to plot, map, design, and draft using CADD for telecommunications networks. The role involves creating accurate network maps and construction prints while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Create new Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software

Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks

Work with Engineering and Construction departments and coordinate with permitting agencies

Create documentation and reporting to support the work package, ie: bill of materials, labor quantities, etc

Ensure facility designs follow company standards and comply with the requirements of local, state and federal regulations, which may include Rural Utilities Service (RUS)

Provide any documentation required for the cost-effective placement of communication facilities

Meet project deadlines and successfully complete tasks under tight timelines

Other duties as assigned
