The intern will assist with drafting, design, engineering tasks, and project execution for custom electrical products, gaining valuable experience in production and engineering processes.

Responsibilities
Provide design and drafting support using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Assist with engineering tasks supporting ETO pillars such as schedule adherence, submittals, and quality
Contribute to the design and development of customer-focused electrical products
Complete assigned engineering projects from concept through execution
Participate in production, engineering, and product design activities to gain cross-functional exposure
Learn and apply Trystar’s engineering processes and ETO workflows
Communicate progress regularly through milestone reporting, weekly 1:1s, and bi-weekly team meetings
Support project development, execution, and final presentation during the internship timeline (June–August)
Qualification
Required
Experience or coursework in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Interest in electrical products, switchboards, and switchpanel systems
Understanding of drafting principles and exposure to GD&T is beneficial
Curious mindset and willingness to learn engineering and electrical product processes
Innovative, creative approach to solving problems and contributing to product improvement
Strong organization, communication, and ability to collaborate in team meetings and mentoring sessions
