Responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision to Psychology Associates at the facility
Monitor restrictive procedures and recommend reductions when appropriate
Assign priorities to Psychology Associates based on their respective caseloads
Serve as the psychological consultant to the Interdisciplinary team
Develop positive behavioral support plans
Conduct psychological evaluations and comprehensive functional assessments
Maintain oversight of all positive behavioral support plans and recommend changes as necessary
Provide diagnostic assessments to clarify treatment needs
Manage the facility peer review process
Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Participate in clinical staff meetings

Required

Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited school of psychology
Three years of post-doctoral experience
One year of experience supervising other professional psychologists
Current license to practice psychology in the state of Washington
Ability to provide clinical leadership and direction to clinical staff and interdisciplinary team
Experience providing treatment to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders
Ability to plan and develop effective behavioral intervention strategies
Knowledge of diagnostic concepts for developmental disabilities and current treatment and intervention modalities
Techniques for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of individual treatment plans
Ability to work in a stressful environment
