Responsibilities

Conducting user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to understand user needs and behaviors
Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of user interfaces, ensuring they are intuitive and aligned with user expectations
Evaluating the usability of designs through testing and feedback, identifying areas for improvement
Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement and refine designs
Applying human factors principles (e.g., cognitive load, perception, motor skills) to design systems that are safe, efficient, and comfortable for users
Documenting design decisions, research findings, and usability test results

Required

Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience
Active TS/SCI required, active TS/SCI with Poly highly desired
Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
Experience with various research methods, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing
Knowledge of human capabilities, limitations, and cognitive processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively and present findings
Ability to identify and solve usability issues and propose creative solutions
Familiarity with design tools (e.g., PenPot, Adobe Creative Cloud) and basic coding skills
