Responsibilities
Transport materials to job sites safely and on schedule
Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely material availability
Resolve delays or issues with shipments to minimize impact on project timelines
Load, unload, and handle materials safely
Maintain organization of materials in the warehouse and on vehicles
Monitor material usage and alert teams when supplies need replenishing
Update tool and material logs using the tracking platform
Communicate with vendors to confirm orders and delivery schedules
Report and resolve discrepancies such as damaged or incorrect shipments
Support purchasing with sourcing and order tracking
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, orders, and inventory
Report any shortages, delays, or project impacts to the project manager
Ensure proper documentation for compliance and future reference
Follow all safety procedures while driving and handling materials
Ensure all materials meet quality and safety standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in logistics, materials delivery, or construction support
Valid driver's license and clean driving record; insurance meeting state requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using tracking systems or spreadsheets for inventory and logistics
