Responsibilities

Providing an assessment to evaluating overall cluster health and identify opportunities to optimize performance

Review shard strategy and allocation

Review ILM (information lifecycle management) policies and data lifecycle management

Support stabilization and optimization tasks, including: right-sizing VM CPU, memory, and storage

Validate shard count and allocation strategy

Review and tune ILM policies to reduce cluster pressure

Supporting migration from VM-based deployment to containers (Docker or Podman) to improve resource isolation, resilience, and scalability

Must possess an Active DoD Secret Level Clearance

Experience evaluating and optimizing overall cluster health and performance
