Associate Project Manager

Responsibilities

Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout laboratory processing
Maintaining customer deliverables
Resolving any issues accurately
Maintaining accurate logs of current samples in for testing
Performing quality checks on all deliverables to customers
Training other client services personnel as required
Maintaining a complaint log to document any customer issues
Notifying senior leadership of all perceived issues and complaints
Handling genetic sequencing patient tumor samples
Organizing activity for testing, intake/cataloging of samples
Communicating both with internal and external folks on testing
Handling discrepancies with testing and communicating with client or internal people as needed
Email communication primarily, proficient with Microsoft Outlook
Heavy documentation – handling study documentation as it will be submitted to the FDA, maintaining documentation every step of the way
First person to intake the sample and last person to touch it when it gets sent back out

Required

Proficiency in computer skills, such as word processing, Excel and information systems
Understanding of regulatory compliance and HIPAA
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to work in various database systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude
Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
Ability to focus, not easily distracted
Comfortable with change and shifting priorities
One year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field
Minimum Of 2 Years Customer Service Experience Required
Strong skills in written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team-based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving
Intellectually curious and results oriented
Proficient in Microsoft suite
Data entry/integrity – documentation for studies on the samples

Preferred

AA/Bachelors' – nice to have, not required
Experience as a PM, APM or QC, Document control
Previous experience from Gen tech
LIM system experience
