This role involves inspecting underground drainage systems, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Inspects underground drainage infrastructure using Close-Circuit Television (CCTV) and/or visual inspections of drainage infrastructure

Performs drainage locating and transfers information to site maps or mapping software

Gathers and reports GPS data

Performs basic maintenance of televising equipment

Conducts site visits to assess requests

Respond to situations where maintenance or repair of public infrastructures may need to be performed, frequently lifting and carrying equipment weighing 25 pounds

Determines ownership and responsibility for areas in need of maintenance or repair

Determines type of maintenance or repair to be completed

Ensures compliance with safety and equipment standards, standard operating procedures and service level agreements

Coordinates with appropriate personnel for maintenance and repairs. Plans, coordinates, and controls work zone traffic

Prepares reports and maintains necessary records of work scheduled and performed

May have to perform minor maintenance and repairs when applicable

Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required
