Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Silver Star Protection Group is a security firm headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, dedicated to delivering customized security solutions. They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to drive full-cycle recruitment and maintain strong hiring standards across the organization.

Security & Investigations

Responsibilities

Create, post, and maintain accurate job advertisements across approved platforms, including Indeed and Paylocity ATS
Source and evaluate candidates through resume review, outreach, and screening interviews to determine qualifications and role alignment
Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit
Communicate role expectations, scheduling requirements, compensation ranges, and relevant company policies clearly and confidently to candidates
Oversee pre-employment requirements, including background checks, licensing verification, and onboarding readiness
Maintain complete and up-to-date candidate records, notes, and pipeline activity within Paylocity to ensure visibility and continuity
Partner with fellow recruiters to address hiring challenges, including hard-to-fill roles or locations, by sharing strategies and solutions prior to escalation
Participate in team discussions to exchange market insights, sourcing ideas, and process improvements that strengthen recruiting outcomes
Support recruitment events, job fairs, and targeted sourcing initiatives as needed
Ensure recruiting practices align with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws
Exercise sound judgment in daily recruiting decisions and escalate issues to leadership only when appropriate
Provide onboarding support as needed to facilitate a smooth transition from candidate to employee
Additional duties may be assigned by your reporting manager

Required

1–3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
Experience using Indeed and Paylocity ATS is required
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a deadline-driven and compliance-sensitive environment
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred

Experience recruiting for security, law enforcement, or similar industries is a plus!
