Responsibilities

Serves as front-line support for Patient Financial Care within Piedmont

Responsible for handling and resolving in-person, telephonic or digital customer inquiries and/or concerns

Providing patients/guarantors from both hospitals and physician practices with a consistent and seamless experience

Following up on and collecting pre-service, at-service or outstanding guarantor balances when required

Providing information on estimated cost of services, verifying coverage, securing authorization, making appointments, and explaining insurance benefits and information on financial resources to patients/guarantors
