Responsibilities
Design and implement microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Develop and maintain Kafka-based messaging and streaming solutions
Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS (Aurora, EC2, Lambda) or Azure
Develop front-end components using Angular 13+ and TypeScript for responsive UI
Write optimized SQL queries and manage relational databases (AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems
Implement monitoring and observability using Datadog and Splunk
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Participate in code reviews, unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), and troubleshooting
Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8–10 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot
Strong experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions)
Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Aurora
Proficiency in SQL and relational database design
Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and modern front-end development
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices deployment on Kubernetes
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Datadog and Splunk
Exposure to Agile methodologies and distributed team collaboration
