Philanthropy Services Program Manager

Responsibilities

Creates, implements, leads, and evaluates project workplans with accountabilities, budgets, and deadlines. Leads special project and event committees and ensures follow-through
Responsible for recruitment, training, and appreciation of volunteers. Accountable for budget of revenue/expense for all assigned projects and events
Excellent written skills and able to craft quality content in charitable giving appeals, letters, articles, updates, newsletters, blogs, social media posts, invitations, donor impact stories and board reports, etc
Strong public speaker
Leads the ordering, organization, inventory, organization, and maintenance of supplies, gifts, goods and décor within the office and storage unit. Effective negotiation skills in working with vendors and contractors (i.e. venues, caterers, independent workers)
Proactively forges external relationships (sponsors, partners, volunteers) and collaborates with internal department leaders and colleagues

Required

Bachelor's Degree required. Preferred areas of study: Project Management, Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Five years' experience required in related field. Demonstrates outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to create and foster a cooperative teamwork environment
Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft suite of products
Effective negotiation skills in working with vendors and contractors (i.e. venues, caterers, independent workers)
Excellent written skills and able to craft quality content in charitable giving appeals, letters, articles, updates, newsletters, blogs, social media posts, invitations, donor impact stories and board reports, etc
Strong public speaker
