LCB Licensing Specialist
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is looking for an LCB Licensing Specialist to join the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). In this role, you will conduct advanced analytical work related to licensing actions, coordinate information, and provide recommendations for Board action in compliance with statutory and regulatory criteria.

Responsibilities
Examining pertinent files for complaints, citations, suspension, appeals, petitions to interview, hearings and any other irregularities or pending action which affect the eligibility of the applicant and or premises
Preparing resumes of complex cases for referral to upper-level management personnel for review and advise
Reviewing cases that require Board action to ensure that all of the pertinent facts are properly presented and discussed in the case resume for proper presentation to the Board
Reviewing and analyzing testimony and resumes prepared by a Hearing Examiner
Preparing summaries of hearings and providing the Bureau's recommendation for Board review and final decision
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience as an LCB Licensing Technician 2; or
Five years of clerical, administrative, or para-professional experience supporting a legal, licensing, or other regulatory program requiring the application of statutes, program policies, and industry regulations, and graduation from high school; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
