Responsibilities
Operate and maintain various process equipment and building utilities across multiple shops
Possess strong knowledge of PLCs, programming, and advanced troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment
Mentor and guide maintenance team members on a daily basis
Maintain expertise in utilities and building systems, including electrical and mechanical components
Apply knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, and mechanical theories for effective troubleshooting and problem analysis
Understand cranes, hoists, and related support equipment operations
Manage chemical treatment programs and ensure proper documentation for all processes
Support other departments to meet production requirements and efficiency goals
Establish and adjust work schedules to align with production and repair needs
Enforce process compliance, safety regulations, and continuous improvement initiatives for equipment and operations
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum 4+ years of process equipment maintenance experience or equivalent training
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent standing, stooping, and walking
Experience with PLC, BMS, or other logic platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens)
Advanced robot programming skills and troubleshooting expertise
Hands-on experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and repair
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, electrical prints, and technical documentation
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, water/air systems, and building construction
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with solid electrical/electronics knowledge
Familiarity with industrial power distribution systems, controls, and safety precautions
Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift on hard surfaces in a production environment
Frequent use of hands for handling tools, assembling components, and operating machinery. Requires fine motor skills and grip strength
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing 10–50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs. with assistance
Routine reaching above shoulders, bending, and twisting waist, and squatting as part of process and tasks
Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movements for tasks such as fastening, positioning, and installing
Occasional use of steps to access different height level areas
Must wear required PPE (safety shoes, gloves, protective sleeves, eye and hearing protection) as per company safety standards
