Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications for SAP MDG
Design and configure SAP MDG solutions, including data models, workflows, and user interfaces, to meet business requirements
Develop and maintain data models within SAP MDG, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
Design and configure workflows within SAP MDG to manage the creation, maintenance, and approval of master data
Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality of SAP MDG solutions
Provide support for end-users, troubleshoot issues related to SAP MDG, and resolve data-related errors
Create and maintain documentation for SAP MDG solutions, including configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials
Work with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and other IT teams, to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of SAP MDG
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of experience as a Master Data Governance lead with deep knowledge of SAP MDG capabilities, configuration, and best practices
Understanding of various business processes that rely on master data, such as materials management, customer and vendor management
Experience in developing and configuring workflows within SAP MDG
Experience in developing and executing test plans for SAP MDG solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with business users and technical teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
Experience working with interfaces to other systems, such as partner systems or legacy systems, to ensure seamless data exchange
Ensure SAP MDG solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirements
