This role involves supporting a variety of structured cabling tasks and offers hands-on training with opportunities to build a career in telecom or data center operations.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Pulling and routing low-voltage cable throughout the facility
Building, stacking, and drilling racks and cabinets
Labeling and porting network equipment
Assisting senior technicians with day‑to‑day installation and data center setup tasks
Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualification
Required
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Dependability—excellent attendance is critical
Ability to work a physically demanding job (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
Willingness to learn and follow direction
Preferred
Candidates with experience in physically intensive or technical environments tend to do well in this role, such as: Construction labor, General labor or warehouse work, Electrical, mechanical, or low-voltage work, Military experience, Any job using hand and power tools
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Comfort with cabling or electrical wiring concepts
General construction or installation experience
Ability to work safely and follow best practices
Previous telecom or low-voltage experience is a plus, but not required
Any exposure to structured cabling environments
