Responsibilities
Create and revise construction drawings using AutoCAD
Develop shop drawings, details, and as-built drawings
Interpret sketches, redlines, specifications, and field information
Coordinate drawing updates based on RFIs, change orders, and site conditions
Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes
Assist with permit submittals and construction documentation packages
Maintain organized drawing files and version control
Collaborate with internal teams to meet project schedules and deadlines
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required)
Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred
Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD, or related field
Experience in construction, roofing, architectural, or engineering drafting
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, or other CAD/BIM tools
Knowledge of construction methods and building codes
