Responsibilities
Participate in all aspects of production to ensure financial and customer requirements are met
Demonstrate outstanding abilities in conflict resolution, leadership presence, and organizational management
Develop strategy to grow technically and manufacture harnesses with higher quality
Demonstrate ability to inspect and identify non-compliant products and processes
Develop strategy to support team development and rate manufacturing environment
Handle any material types issued to production
Track project completion timelines to support on time delivery
Ensure manufacturing tools and equipment function properly
Create a safe work environment for production teams
Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as ISO:9001 and AS:9100 Quality Standards, Lean Manufacturing and Employee Safety
Other Responsibilities, Initiatives And Ad-hoc Projects As Required
Qualification
Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to read, comprehend and create written and verbal instruction in English
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work well both individually and in a team setting
High school diploma/GED is preferred
Experience in wire harness production, aerospace manufacturing, or a similar field is preferred
Working knowledge of soldering, wire crimping and testing equipment is preferred
Ability to learn, adapt, and continually improve both quality and efficiency
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and demonstrates sound judgment
Commitment to excellence, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow professionally
Ability to inspect and identify non-compliant products and processes
Ability to track project completion timelines to support on time delivery
Ability to create a safe work environment for production teams
Ability to participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as ISO:9001 and AS:9100 Quality Standards, Lean Manufacturing and Employee Safety
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and 50+ pounds with assistance
Ability to operate a pallet jack with training
Ability to utilize ladders and step stools as needed to reach high items
Ability to withstand sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
Ability to use a high level of manual dexterity
Ability to use close vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
