TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for their Ads Infrastructure team. The intern will participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system and work with product and business teams on product vision.

Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system

Responsible for the development of state-of-the-art software engineering projects

Own key targeting components or strategies in the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem

Work with product and business teams on product vision

Required

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science or a related technical discipline

Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Go, C/C++, Python, and Java

Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way

Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms

Very strong teamwork skills (e.g. communication, ownership, empathy, honesty)

Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026

Preferred

Experience in the advertising, e-commerce or gaming industry
