Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and areas for improvement
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecast future financial performance, and monitor variances against budget
Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory standards, including tax laws
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing professional development opportunities
Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and address any audit findings
Analyze financial data to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), assess profitability, and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting
Monitor cash flow, manage cash receipts and disbursements, and forecast future cash needs
Communicate financial information clearly to senior management, department heads, and other stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools
Leadership and supervisory skills to manage a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
