Front Office Receptionist, Internal Medicine (Frisco, TX)
99 Healthcare Management is a Dallas-based physician practice management company, and they are seeking a friendly and organized Front Office Receptionist to join the Frisco Center for Internal Medicine. The role involves managing front desk and administrative tasks, ensuring a positive first impression for patients and supporting the smooth operation of the practice.

Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming first impression
Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate collection of demographic, billing, and insurance information
Verify insurance eligibility ensuring accuracy
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; respond to patient inquiries or route to the appropriate staff member
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Notify medical staff of patient's arrival
Process insurance referrals and obtain prior authorizations as required
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances; explain patient payment responsibility
Review patient balances for accuracy; calculate and collect patients out of pocket cost
Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
Assist in maintaining front office supplies and equipment
Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance
Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk role within a medical or doctor's office setting
Understanding of insurance coverages (co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, etc.)
EMR experience required
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Preferred
E-Clinical Works preferred
Bilingual candidates preferred but not required
Ability to draw blood preferred but not required
