Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors is growing and we are looking for the right candidates to be a part of our talented team. Currently, we are in need of an Intermediate Designer with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic design team, contributing to innovative projects across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks
Create accurate schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documentation for various projects
Produce high-quality graphic designs and visualizations for presentations and client proposals
Assist in system design and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards
Utilize CAD tools to develop detailed plans for interior spaces, mechanical systems, or architectural layouts
Collaborate with project teams to refine designs and incorporate client feedback effectively
Prepare detailed construction documents and coordinate with engineers or contractors as needed
Support the development of 2D animations or visual storytelling elements for project presentations

Required

3 to 5 years of professional experience in design-related roles across architecture, engineering, interior design, or related fields
Professional or Master's Degree from an accredited Architecture program
REVIT experience required
Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite programs
Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering programs
Possess hand sketching and hand rendering skills
Familiarity with residential and commercial construction details and methods
Hands-on approach
Ability to manage and produce a comprehensive Construction Documents package
Eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of responsibility
Fluency in written and spoken English
Legal work status in the United States
Good communication skills and able to work in a team environment

Experience in Residential projects preferred
