Responsibilities
Proven track-record managing material deliveries – ensure that materials received are properly inspected
Manage and negotiate subcontractor contracts
Assist in developing and updating the project schedule
Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals
Maintain a complete and current record of submittals and approvals
High level of involvement in the operations of a cost control system
Participate in monthly forecasting of revenue and cost accruals
Process and estimate change orders and RFI’s as directed by the Project Manager
Qualification
Required
5+ years or more of civil/construction experience in related work at the job site
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to function as a team builder and team player
The ability to walk through a construction site in all climates and environments
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or related field
Preferred
10 hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates
Previous experience with civil rail and transit projects
