Responsibilities
Translate brand definition and global strategy into actionable design direction. Lead brand design planning, define the next-generation design style, and establish a multi-category Visual Brand Language (VBL)
Build local user insight capabilities. Focus on North American user needs and industry trends to generate innovative concepts that enhance product differentiation and competitiveness
Lead "Design-Driven Innovation" projects, exploring integrated design solutions for cleaning products within the smart home ecosystem
Build, mentor, and lead the Boston Design Center (BDC) industrial design team. Optimize design processes and ensure efficient cross-departmental and cross-border collaboration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or higher degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of industrial design experience, with at least 5 years in team leadership/management
Background in smart hardware/home appliances is essential
Proven track record of successfully leading the end-to-end design process for mass-produced products, especially in the cleaning product category
Comprehensive professional expertise: proficient in brand design strategy formulation, familiar with CMF and mold manufacturing processes related to home appliances
Strong user insight with the ability to guide teams in optimizing product UI/UX
Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
Preferred
Graduation from a renowned design institution is preferred
Recipients of international design awards (iF, Red Dot, IDEA, etc.) are highly preferred
