Responsibilities

Perform software maintenance, testing and evaluation, and documentation in support of mission systems

Support Information Assurance (IA) activities in accordance with DoD policies and security requirements

Participate in requirements management, system analysis, and technical documentation efforts

Provide systems and/or equipment support for operational environments

Support test and evaluation activities, including C4ISR-related requirements (as applicable by level)

Assist in systems integration, architecture, and design activities (Levels IV-V)

Provide technical support for DoD systems and programs

Collaborate with government and contractor teams to ensure system performance and compliance

Apply engineering best practices to ensure system reliability, maintainability, and security

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field that complements software maintenance

Active Secret Security Clearance

Experience in one or more of the following areas: Software Maintenance, Testing & Evaluation, Documentation, Information Assurance (IA), Requirements Management, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems Integration

Ability to support technical requirements for DoD systems

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Level I: 1 year of relevant experience, including systems/equipment support and test & evaluation support of C4ISR requirements

Level II: 3 years of relevant experience, At least 1 year supporting DoD systems

Level III: 6 years of relevant experience, At least 3 years supporting DoD systems

Level IV: 10 years of relevant experience, At least 5 years supporting DoD systems, Experience in systems analysis, architecture, and integration

Level V: 15 years of relevant experience, Recognized expert in DoD systems

Levels I-IV: Must be working toward one of the following certifications within 18 months of assuming duties, or complete a COR-approved vendor/platform-specific certification: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM), Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), or equivalent

Level V: Must have completed one of the above certifications
