HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner will provide HR advisory support, manage employee relations, and oversee full-cycle recruitment to enhance organizational effectiveness and support the company's life-saving operations.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HR advisory support, coaching managers on policies, practices, and people challenges
Lead investigations, mediate disputes, and help leaders navigate performance management with fairness and care
Own full-cycle recruitment for your region, ensuring we hire and onboard the best talent to support our firefighting mission
Develop strong connections with leaders and employees to understand their needs and bring HR solutions that work
Spot opportunities to streamline processes, enhance technology use, and make HR more accessible and impactful
Partner on organizational initiatives and HR projects that support growth and transformation
Qualification
Required
5+ years in progressive HR roles in a dynamic, diverse environment
4+ years in compensation, benefits, and employee relations (including investigations)
Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws; international or Australian labor law experience a plus
Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred)
Skilled in conflict resolution, employee relations, and relationship building
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Aviation industry experience (preferred but not required)
