Responsibilities
Update and optimize existing posts for accuracy, clarity, and SEO performance
Write two to three long‐form posts per week of 1,200 to 1,500 words based on SEO briefs and seasonal topics
Implement on‐page SEO best practices including keyword usage, internal links, metadata, headings, and structured content
Publish in WordPress with correct formatting, accessibility, and technical SEO elements
Collaborate with subject matter experts and the SEO Manager to ensure content is compliant, factual, and on brand
Use content optimization tools to identify keyword opportunities and improve quality scores
Maintain a rapid publishing cadence with three-to-four-day turnarounds when needed
Proofread and QA for grammar, style, and factual accuracy before publishing
Coordinate with web operations and analytics for tracking, technical checks, and performance reporting
Qualification
Required
Five years of professional experience writing and editing for the web in content marketing or SEO roles
Proficiency with WordPress for creating, formatting, and publishing content
Strong knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research, metadata, internal linking, and on‐page optimization
Experience in regulated industries such as finance, banking, or taxation
Demonstrated hands‐on use or familiarity with AI or LLM tools used in content workflows
Excellent written communication and strong organization to manage multiple deadlines
Comfortable presenting and collaborating on camera in virtual meetings
Ability to operate effectively in a fast‐paced and rapidly changing environment
Strong attention to detail, fact‐checking, and adherence to brand style guides
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience with content optimization tools such as Clearscope, MarketMuse, or SurferSEO
Basic knowledge of U.S. tax concepts or personal finance topics
Experience collaborating with marketing or editorial teams in fast‐paced environments
Familiarity with CRM, analytics, or project tools used for content operations
