Trilon Group is seeking a Survey Project Manager (PLS) to join the HMB team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves leading and managing surveying projects, supervising a team of surveyors, and ensuring compliance with regulations while coordinating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage surveying projects , including roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure
Supervise a team of surveyors, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines and budgets
Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to meet project goals
Review and interpret survey data for design and construction purposes
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards
Manage project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and permits
Conduct fieldwork when necessary, providing technical oversight and guidance
Ensure the safety of all team members and compliance with safety regulations in the field

Qualification

Required

8+ years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on transportation projects
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
Proficiency with surveying equipment and software, including MicroStation, ORD, and Civil 3D
Strong understanding of transportation design and survey requirements
Excellent project management and team leadership skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
