Staff Integration & Test Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Lead an engineering team working to transition from EMD, Integration & Test to production for a very important sector priority program with many time-critical elements and high management visibility
Deliver all product team deliverables on time and within cost, while meeting contractual programmatic and technical requirements and stakeholder expectations, and measure and report Earned Value (EV) performance
Ensure technical quality, performance, cost and schedule for product team content on the program, in alignment with Engineering and Division processes, program policies, and industry best standards
Adhere to the IPT Statement of Work (SOW) and perform rigorous change management in coordination with program leadership
Identification of resources, including staffing, required to complete product team deliverables, and communicate the need in a timely manner to enable onboarding of the resources early enough to meet program objectives. Coordinate with Functional Management to staff the IPT
Provide support as an interface to the customer on details pertaining to their product scope
Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, a Master's degree with 10 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields
US citizenship is required
Active Secret Clearance or higher and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance is required
2 years minimum background in RF hardware integration, testing and/or troubleshooting
1 year of experience in team (or project) leadership in one of the following areas: IPT Lead, deputy IPT Lead, test, hardware or technical, integration and test, test design, RF hardware testing and troubleshooting, or manufacturing / operations support
Experience managing and conducting technical reviews
Systems I&T experience
Ability to work full-time onsite in Baltimore, MD
Preferred
Experience working with cross functional teams to drive test and production improvements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience and the ability to work seamlessly with a diverse community of engineers
Experience reporting project status to program, functional management or customers
3+ year of experience in team (or project) leadership in one of the following areas: IPT Lead, deputy IPT Lead, test, hardware or technical, integration and test, test design, RF hardware testing and troubleshooting, or manufacturing / operations support
