Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into accessible formats
Data Infrastructure Management: Develop and manage data infrastructure components, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes, ensuring scalability and reliability
Data Quality & Governance: Implement processes for data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with security and privacy policies
Collaboration: Work with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored data solutions
Performance Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and/or 10+ years of experience
TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired
Proficiency in languages such as Python and SQL is crucial
Expertise in big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
Knowledge of various database systems and data warehouse architectures
Experience with data modeling techniques to design effective data structures
Familiarity with cloud environments and related tools (e.g., AWS, GCP)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with teams and stakeholders
