Responsibilities

Drive Customer Advisory & Stakeholder Collaboration - Proactively engage with Zoho’s most strategic accounts through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to build trust. Understand each customer’s evolving needs and identify opportunities to expand their Zoho investment through upsell and cross-sell strategies. Act as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and technical team, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Service, and product teams to deliver a great customer experience, and ensure long-term success

Requirments Gathering, Documentation & Scoping - Create well-structured user stories with clear acceptance criteria, categorize by priority, and maintain product backlogs that guide agile development sprints. Facilitate backlog refinement sessions with technical teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications. Create clear and concise reports, process illustrations, and workflow diagrams to communicate requirement insights and business context. Create detailed business requirements, process flows/workflow charts, diagrams and user stories to guide development and testing efforts. Map current workflows and recommend technology-driven improvements to eliminate manual tasks and increase productivity. Execute customer discoveries by planning meeting agendas, tracking customer pre-requisites using defined internal project management processes

Support Feasibility Assessment & Solution Design - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Zoho implementations. Support project managers and development teams in translating business needs into technical solutions. Support software testing to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and customer expectations

Support Customer Education - Work to support internal enterprise marketing efforts in developing customer testimonials, articulating customer success stories and sharing solution frameworks to other customers via webinars, Zoho even presentations, meetings. Continuously improve understanding of Zohos product offerings and industry trends to provide value-added analysis for customer

Competitive Platform Analysis – Conduct objective comparisons between Zoho and competitive solutions (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) based on functional requirements. Articulate Zoho's competitive advantages and limitations honestly to build customer trust

Required

2+ yrs of prior Business Analyst experience and ability to gather/document requirements, collaborate with technical team, and educate customers

Proficiency in Workplace Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks or Basic understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g.,BABOK, SWOT, MEDDIC, BANT, SPIN, BPMN, UML)

Hands-on experience with CRM/ERP systems (preferred but not mandatory)

Business process fluency across multiple industries (manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, professional services, etc.) with ability to quickly understand domain-specific workflows, compliance requirements, and operational nuances

Stakeholder Psychology & Influence – Navigate challenging stakeholder personas during discovery (resistant veterans, absent decision-makers, scope creep advocates). Employ techniques to extract requirements from difficult or unfocused stakeholders while maintaining productive relationships

Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment

Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
