Responsibilities
Reads and understands Job Instructions, Formatted sample, machine templates, and Make-ready/sign-off procedures
Performs Daily Preventative Maintenance on assigned bindery equipment
Responsible for the safe and effective operation of assigned bindery equipment
Performs Quality Checks on products
Provides training and direction to newly hired or promoted bindery crewmembers
Responsible for maintaining production standards
Follows all established safety procedures and guidelines
Maintains job-related records and inputs production into Quad systems as required
Manages self-development
Actively participates in safety programs, follows safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of bindery Experience
Knowledge of MBO folders (both sheet fed and roll fed), rollem slit/score/perf units, spedo cutters, hot melt and cold glue units, and auto feed laminators and die cutters, equipment helpful
Strong mechanical aptitude
