Responsibilities
Coordinate appointments and patient communications
Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
Maintain accurate records and uphold patient confidentiality
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and proficient in telephone etiquette
Assures that new patients are properly oriented to health center services and facilities
Monitors schedules of dental clinicians to assure that clinical resources are maximized and that client caseloads are managed to provide adequate access to those needing routine and emergency care, and to provide compliance with Managed Medicaid Contracts
Communicates with dental clinicians regarding schedules, patient concerns and appointment priorities
Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient in telephone etiquette
Ability to coordinate appointments and patient communications
Experience with insurance verification and billing processes
Ability to maintain accurate records and uphold patient confidentiality
Ability to assure that new patients are properly oriented to health center services and facilities
Ability to monitor schedules of dental clinicians to assure that clinical resources are maximized
Ability to communicate with dental clinicians regarding schedules, patient concerns and appointment priorities
