Project Engineer – GE AEMS Implementation

Mid LevelInfo Way Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical implementation of Client AEMS EMS/SCADA systems for utility customers. This role involves overseeing project delivery, ensuring compliance and quality, and acting as the primary technical contact for customers.

Responsibilities
Oversee technical aspects of project execution, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and quality standards
Act as the primary technical contact for customers, building strong relationships and serving as the link with the customer teams
Provide guidance to junior engineers and coordinate resources for small to medium-sized projects
Configure and integrate Client AEMS systems in customer environments
Prepare and maintain technical documentation (design notes, configuration guides, test procedures)
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and system cutover activities
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-deployment phases
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, NERC CIP, customer quality processes
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Client AEMS EMS/SCADA (must have)
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (must have)
Remote in the US with flexibility to travel as required
Preferred
Familiarity with power system applications (e.g., power flow, state estimator, contingency analysis)
Experience with Linux and Windows environments
Knowledge of networking, system integration, and cybersecurity standards
Familiarity with tools like Jira, qTest, and automation frameworks (e.g., Katalon)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing interactions
