Responsibilities
Primary lead in the Software Engineering Workday Integration space, to include performing analysis, design, development, and configuration functions (includes defining technical requirements) with a high degree of accuracy and speed, operating as an individual contributor to team goals
Understands the political nature of the organization and works appropriately within it; effectively establishes collaborative relationships and alliances throughout the organization
Perform analysis, assessment and resolution for defects and incidents of advanced complexity and escalate appropriately
Work independently to tackle well-scoped and loosely scoped problems
Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities. Understands impacts of changes to Workday. Identifies potential impacts in other systems domains
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Leads troubleshooting and defect resolution. This includes requesting resources, migration through environments and ticket management
Proactively communicates status of enhancements, change requests and defects. Responsible for change, defect and enhancement request process and assignment of approved work for team
Simultaneously supports multiple projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience
Four years of programming/development experience
Two years of Workday Experience in building integrations using Report Writer, EIB, and Workday Studio needed
Intermediate delivery skills including the ability to estimate accurate timelines for tasks and deliver work at a steady, predictable pace to achieve commitments
Demonstrated track record of domain expertise including understanding technical concepts necessary to do the job effectively
Strong problem solver who ensures solutions are built for the long term
Strong communicator who possesses the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely with the business
Intermediate leadership skills with the ability to help create a safe environment for others to learn and grow as engineers
