Responsibilities
Perform site access control functions to prevent the loss of equipment, materials, and company assets
Interface with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary to support loss prevention and incident resolution
Make timely notifications to off-site emergency responders and site management in the event of fire, medical emergencies, or other incidents not covered by established site Emergency Plans
Protect employees, customers, and visitors from workplace violence, identity theft, and other criminal or disruptive activities
Conduct Alarm Station duties, ensuring effective response to both emergency and non-emergency situations
Monitor, acknowledge, and respond to alarm events, ensuring proper escalation and timely resolution
Ensure accurate and timely completion of reports, logs, and required documentation
Utilize various security systems, software applications, and communication equipment in support of daily operations
Monitor security applications, triage alerts, and escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures
Investigate and resolve security incidents to contain and mitigate threats as safely and efficiently as possible
Perform report writing related to alarms, incidents, investigations, and operational activities
Qualification
Required
Preferred candidate has either an honorable military discharge, an AA degree, or 2-3 year of experience in a center/security dispatch environment
Experience working in a command and control center environment
Demonstrated interest in Security and law enforcement work preferred
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Comfortable in an ever changing, fast paced, sometimes stressful environment
Experienced with MS Office Suite. Excel, Access, SharePoint, etc.)
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Customer Service orientation
Must be flexible - Weekend availability
A dependable Team player with maturity, that participates in problem solving with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Can independently develop reports
Basic computer literacy and at least 40 WPM typing speed
