Prepare Periodic Internal and External Reports and Schedules
Coordinate Financial Activity with Various Campus Departments
Prepare Transactions and Reconciliations for the Statewide Accounting System
Provide Cross-training and Fiscal Support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or closely related field
Two years of working in an accounting or related field
Experience with relational database tools and queries
Experience with accounting principles
Experience with spreadsheets, tables and charts or similar tools (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive of the needs including universal access of our students, faculty, staff and the public
Preferred
Progressive experience using financial and quantitative tools for analysis and reporting, and the ability to think strategically and analytically, solve problems and make solutions-oriented recommendations and decisions
Proficiency working with an ERP/integrated technology, including data query and extraction
Experience with fiscal report design and preparation
Experience with analysis of large data sets, including evaluation of findings that required data query, analysis, and reporting
Experience with internal control evaluation and/or audit techniques
Prior experience in a higher education or governmental setting
