SMX is seeking a Windows Systems Information Assurance Administrator to support our customer with collecting IA artifacts in support of the Navy RMF process for systems in their hybrid on-premise and GovCloud data center. The role involves monitoring various systems, managing IA work, and collaborating with data center teams to address cybersecurity concerns.

Responsibilities

Monitor NHDSM ticketing system

Monitor/Manage/Schedule/Forecast Upcoming IA Work

Work with a large variety of Data Center teams to alleviate Cyber findings and concerns

Attend collaboration meetings to address STIG/EvaluateSTIG discrepancies

ACAS scanning and reports

Support vulnerability detection, remediations, and mitigations

2-4 years of Windows Administration experience

Experience in DoD Information Assurance/Cyber policy and procedures to include hardening of systems, implementing STIGs, and scanning

Knowledge of NIST guidelines and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Experience with administering Windows/Linux operating systems

Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices, including STIG checklists and SCAP scanning

DoD 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) (Examples of minimum acceptable certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, G SEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)

Detail-oriented and able to work multiple assignments autonomously and in a team setting

Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace
