FDIO Site Implementation Support Technician

SAIC is seeking engineers to provide Site Implementation support to the FAA Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization. This role involves assisting with FDIO modifications, reading site drawings, and installing and validating hardware and software.

Required

Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field and 9+ years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees
Knowledge of computer hardware comparable to Comp TIA A+ certification
Knowledge of cable paths and protocols
Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent organization and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language
Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
Excellent troubleshooting skills
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust
