Required

A valid Professional Engineering License (Civil) required for Range D appointment
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required
Knowledge Of: Contract administration paperwork and documentation
Knowledge Of: Caltrans Construction Manual, Standard Specifications and Special Provisions
Knowledge Of: Highway and bridge construction, design engineering and cost estimating
Ability To: Administer construction contracts. Has knowledge of Caltrans Plans and Specifications, and ability to interpret and enforce contract documents, and monitor expenses
Ability To: Serve as a lead worker, coordinate/assign work and provide direction to staff
Ability To: Communicate with Contractors to provide direction and resolve conflicts
Ability To: Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships and be an effective team member
Ability To: Obtain or Possess a CA Professional Engineer License (If not currently licensed, state if examinations have been started, or expected date to begin examinations)
