Responsibilities

Break exclusive news about Nashville’s music stars, rising artists, reality fixtures, creators, and the ever-expanding influencer ecosystem
Cultivate deep relationships with publicists, managers, artists, producers, label insiders, and Nashville’s most plugged-in content creators
Pitch fresh, unique, and timely story ideas that capture the Daily Mail audience
File clean, accurate, fast copy under pressure
Identify emerging personalities, controversies, and viral moments before they spike
Attend and cover events, premieres, industry parties, brand launches, and pop-ups across the city

Qualification

Required

3+ years of experience in entertainment journalism
Strong understanding of the US entertainment landscape
Proven ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced digital newsroom

Strong legal and ethics understanding
Exceptional sourcing inside the Nashville music industry and influencer community
A track record of breaking news, generating exclusives, and landing interviews
Deep understanding of country music, pop-country crossovers, and the online creator ecosystem
A passion for storytelling
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with our Showbiz & Lifestyle desks
