Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains all financial procedures and records
Manages day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
Processes ACH, wire transfer, and check payments
Monitors cash flow and ensures timely billing, collections, and cost control
Works effectively with external accountant on monthly reports, such as monthly sales tax and quarterly sales tax reports
Manages the bookkeeping of all financial records, including deposits as well as withdrawals and purchases
Manages the monthly reconciliation process for the banking and credit card statements
Maintains relationships with the office’s insurance brokers, bankers, attorneys, and 401(k) administrator
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Experience: 10-15 years of experience
Time Management: ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Data Entry: ability to input data accurately and expediently based on information that has been communicated by the design team
Banking: ability to responsibly utilize banking tools, including the set up of ACH/wire transfer payments
Financial Reconciliation: ability to handle banking and credit card reconciliation from a macro and micro perspective
Preferred
Previous experience in a similar role at an interior design firm
