Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and review design and engineering work on façade/civil/structural projects
Provide guidance on complex engineering challenges and serve as a subject-matter expert
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Direct and manage day-to-day operations of the New York office
Recruit, supervise, mentor, and develop engineering and administrative staff
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that supports employee growth
Implement company policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives at the office level
Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and referrals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the New York region
Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and professional organizations
Prepare and present proposals, qualifications packages, and client presentations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York required
10+ years of progressive engineering and leadership experience in the AEC industry
Proven track record of successful project management and client development
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to balance technical project responsibilities with office management and business growth
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
