Responsibilities
Participate in developmental assignments to gain Foundry experience
Learn how to identify, analyze, and apply information to support issue resolution
Assist in investigations and corrective actions and leverage innovative ideas to improve manufacturing issues
Qualification
Required
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in engineering, technology, or related field; others may apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university
Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly during the business hours of 7 AM to 5 PM CST
Available to work during the summer semester 30-40 hours/weekly during the business hours of 7 AM to 5 PM CST
Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa, on a daily basis year-round
Preferred
Ability to collaborate and work well with a team
Attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to be self-directed and identify opportunities based on team goals
Mechanical or Electrical troubleshooting experience
Experience with 3D/2D Modeling & Layout Software
Experience in Microsoft Office applications as well as the ability to learn new tool
Strong interest in casting processes
Experience in the use and application of Root Cause Analysis
Experience with robotics, programming, and data and analytics tools
