Responsibilities
Perform response and preventative maintenance on traffic signal equipment
Troubleshoot electrical/communication issues
Repair damaged equipment
Install upgraded traffic signal equipment
Locate and mark out underground cables/conduits
Work rotating on call shifts for emergency calls
Work after-hours and in a variety of weather conditions
Any other duties as supervisor, the President and CEO may require
Qualification
Required
Quickly learn traffic technical knowledge and grow in their position over time

Be able to meet the physical demands of the job (standing and walking for prolonged periods of time at open and elevated heights, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation is required

Read, write and speak fluent English
Possess good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Possess communication and teamwork skills with a positive demeanor
Hold and maintain a valid driver's license
Have and maintain a clean driving record and be able to furnish proof of insurance

Be willing to learn new technologies
