Responsibilities

X-Ray Inspections of products and components
Visual and dimensional inspections
Generation of Inspection Reports
Internal Auditor
Verification of Lot Acceptance Testing results
RSO for both sites
Lead for the x-ray department
Uses engineering drawings to determine quality and reliability standards
Prepares and documents non-conformance reports
Follows procedures as defined by CAD policies, procedures, and AS9100D requirements
Maintains confidentiality of all information processed
Interfacing with Customers as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned NDT Level II technician with RT (X-ray) experience
ASTM E-1742
MIL-STD 453C
Experience in the inspection of manufactured aerospace components or military NDT training is a plus
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, aerospace engineering, related discipline
3+ years of experience in pyrotechnics, explosives, energetics, or related fields in aerospace and defense
Proven experience in aerospace component development, testing, or systems integration
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a highly competitive environment
Strong understanding of aerospace design standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, FAA, EASA, USG, DOD Requirements)
In-depth knowledge of explosive and energetic materials, chemistry, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Physical inspection experience utilizing calipers, Micrometers, Microscopes, Electrical Test equipment
MIL-STD 453C radiographic Inspection
Team Building
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Decision making skills
Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Computer skills including the ability to utilize spreadsheet and word-processing programs at a highly proficient level
Prior X-Ray Radiographic Inspection minimum Level 1 required Level 2 or 3 preferred

Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
1-2 years' experience preferred
Organizational, communication, and project management skills
Ability to interact diplomatically with people both in person, in email or on the telephone
