Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
Extensive experience (10+ years) in cybersecurity with a focus on data loss prevention and insider threat reduction
Proven record of excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
Experience operating in a regulated environment with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and their practical implications, including PCI-DSS, GDPR, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), NYDFS, and other data protection / privacy regulations
Familiarity with security frameworks such as CIS, ISO 27001, and/or NIST CSF as well as industry best practices
Experience Leading Insider Threat Programs?
Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Tools?
Hands-on Experience with Microsoft Purview?
Experience with Microsoft 365 Security Tools?
Experience with Proofpoint?
Experience with Netskope?
Experience with Wiz DSPM?
Familiarity with Regulatory Frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, RBI, NYDFS)?
Familiarity with Security Frameworks (e.g., CIS, ISO 27001, NIST CSF)?
Leadership Experience (Team Size, Years in Leadership)?
Experience Working in Regulated Environments (Finance, Healthcare, etc.)?
Experience Managing Security Incidents or Critical Issues?
Experience Collaborating with Legal, Compliance, or HR Teams?
Experience Building Security Policies & Procedures?
Strong Communication Skills with Stakeholders / Executives?
Comfortable Managing Cross-Functional Security Teams?
Willing to Relocate to Chicago (if not local)?
Current Work Authorization Status (US Citizen, GC, H1B, etc.)
Preferred
Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security, Proofpoint, Netskope, and Wiz DSPM strongly preferred
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable
