Responsibilities

Maintain detailed records of system configurations, network diagrams, cabling, testing, changes made, and resolution steps for survey report

Work closely with cross-functional teams to support project related tasks and initiatives

Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in low-voltage cabling, telecommunications, or a related field

Strong understanding of telecommunications principles, equipment, and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VoIP, SIP)

Familiarity with cabling standards and network configurations is essential

Strong knowledge of PBX systems (e.g., Avaya, Cisco, Mitel), VoIP protocols (SIP, TCP/IP), and network fundamentals (LAN/WAN)

Use specialized testing equipment, including cable analyzers and continuity testers, to verify cable functionality

Strong understanding of different cable types, telecommunications protocols, network topology, and electrical safety standards

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate's degree or technical certification in electronics, telecommunications, or IT being highly valued

Active Secret clearance required

This position will require 85% travel
