Responsibilities
Create a virtual course that includes a topic that is accessible and engaging to students in an alternative school setting
Align the content of the course to the Massachusetts State Frameworks in ELA
Create recorded videos of direct instruction that will provide students with a context of the content they are learning about in the course
Create a course that lasts one semester and includes separate units of study that end in skills appropriate summative assessments to determine student proficiency
Provide a curriculum map for the course to the Principal prior to beginning the course that details the content and standards that they hope to include
Are able to grade or support in grading the student work of the students enrolled in the course in the future
