Business Operations Specialist (Mid-Level or Subject Matter Expert)

Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, and assess architecture of meeting content and leadership briefings
Lead coordination of commitments with internal and external stakeholders for large-scale, complex plans supporting executive leadership strategies
Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and refine business cases accordingly
Present plans and business cases to executive leadership for approval
Provide direction for implementation of work authorization
Facilitate establishment of management system architecture using Program Management Best Practices
Develop and maintain visibility systems to support management architecture
Utilize management systems to report status on commitments and compliance with plans
Represent executive management in communicating business policies, strategies, and directions internally and externally
Assist in task management and provide expert business advice to optimize executive resource utilization
Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management
5+ years' experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with executive interface
5+ years' experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications
5+ years' experience facilitating the meetings and presenting to senior leaders
5+ years' experience creating executive level briefings
5+ years of experience coordinating the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serving as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling, and management
5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
3+ year of experience developing executive level presentations
5+ years of experience with developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Preferred
Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience working with Department of Defense and international equivalents
Experience functioning in a cross-functional environment
Proven experience in business operations, program management, or related fields
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to coordinate complex projects and engage multiple stakeholders
Experience in Adaptive Planning
